See that smile? SEE IT? The absolute pure love that I have for that necklace is endless. Judge if you will, but I feel like the coolest person in the world right now.
Now i've shared that, there's something else I would like to share, please take the time to read because it's a voice that i'm completely passionate about, and if you've ever had the fortune to hear this voice, you'll know what I mean.
Kate McGill's album "Replaced" is exactly what I love about music. No autotuning, no shitty Ark Music Factory label turning her into a Rebecca black wannabe with 'hot problems' (If you read this, don't sue me!) A girl, a guitar, a panda hat, and a fucking breath taking voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APnOQr59yYU Her cover of Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good.
Give it a listen :) Peace out! xo

A big big thank you!
Recently I have been an awful blogger. But since I went home for easter and was reunited with some lovely lovely people, I am now completely swamped with work. Therefore my life for the next few weeks consists of this..
Painful sight isnt it? Well I suppose that's what I get when I leave my work a little bit too late!
However there was some work I did do over easter! :)
My photography, and for that, I would like to thank my bestfriend, all the members of crystal hot tubs (this isn't their actual band name, and they wont appreciate me putting that, but hey!) Everyone down the bridge, indi and the vegas, connor, calvin, phil loake for his wonderful help and last but not least my lovely boyfriend for giving me so much help :) You are all amazing people <3 (If there is anyone i've forgotten, I give full permission to kick me when you next see me)
I've put some of my pictures that I took on my facebook, so check 'em out :)

xoxo Gossip Girl
Now, we all have them little things in life which we love. Whether it be that morning coffee or coming home to find your cat waiting for you in your room (Some of my personal favourites!) But today I will be talking about something which I have been crazily obsessed with for too long now, Gossip girl!
No, really. Do not knock it till you've tried it, it's possibly one of the best things i've ever watched in my whole life, I can't get enough of it, all thanks to my lovely friend Katie who got me into it :) IOU
It's all set in the upper east side of new york. Fast, flashy and expensive. But what made me fall inlove with it the most was the characters. Blair waldorf my absoloute favourite: Scheming, Stylish and like the Upper east styled devil only with an expensive wardrobe and a sexy college resume to match. I don't think i've ever found a character more interesting to watch.
Serena Van Der Woodsen. The page 6 girl. Long, blonde and beautiful with a secret past. She also ends up falling inlove with someone who eventually becomes her step brother then they go on to share a sibling. Too hillbilly for you yet? You don't know the half of it. Spotted at grand central station you go on to find out all about her past and her crazy life style.
Dan Humphrey. Born and raised over the bridge in brooklyn. Starting a college with the rest of manhattan's elite. With his college funds being paid for by his dad he's in for an unexpected ride untill long blonde and beautiful stumbles (literally) into his life. Oh dan, don't you know that nothing stays simple on the upper east side?
Jenny Humphrey - Little J, what starts of as an innocent pretty brooklyn girl turns into a fast social climbing, fashion designing, scheming Queen B. But little to the audience's suprise is that there's only enough room for one Queen B, and Blair isn't going to be too happy about that! My opinions of Little J changed so rapidly between each series that I still can't make up my mind, I feel almost as indecisive as her.
Chuck Bass- "I'm Chuck Bass" And he knows it. With a bad relationship with his father he takes out his emotions on drugs, booze and bangkok. While being one of the richest teenagers in New York and having his evil sheming eyes set on Blair, he can only spell trouble.
That's about all I have time to tell. So what are you waiting for? Get onto amazon and order it :)

Night of the living dead
Well, by night I actually mean morning! 8:50am in the morning to be exact.
Everytime I seem to walk through Derby at this time, everyone seems to look and act like a zombie. I can sympathise completely, seeing as i'm not exactly an enthusiastic morning person myself. But is it me, or do people at this time seem to go about their day extremely slowely? So slow infact, that sometimes I swear they're going backwards.
The first obstical is always an army of prams, which will always come paired with children and mothers on their way to school. Now when you're in a rush to your 9am lecture it is not always ideal to become stuck behind them, or worse as I find inbetween. Now this morning for example, I had to rush even more to hand in a camera. So there I was walking down the road to then come face to face with this army of prams taking up both pathways. Do I be sneaky and daring and walk on the road? No Amy, don't be silly, 9am traffic is not good when you're so tired, you know this. So instead, the only way possible to jump these hurdles is to find a gap to fit in. Now I don't know if any of you have ever been hit with a pram but it's never pleasant, neither is accidently walking into one when a mother suddenly stops so her child can catch up with her. The only way out of this situation is to swerve in, out and around this laggard stampede, and i'm glad to say I came out alive.
The next obstical is the old ladies on the corner. Now i'm not sure why, but there must be some sort of enchanting force field which attracts old ladies to stop at this corner. No where else, just this corner. There I was, pleased with myself that the prams had gone, when I had to stop suddenly as two old ladies stopped at this corner and had a conversation. As I attempted to slide passed I was stopped once again with another pram lady. I don't know where they come from! If I could, I would avoid this corner, but I have no choice.
The final obstical is down the highstreet, and without fail, every single morning the owners of shops, old ladies and children will always stand in the pathway, right in the middle, for no reason at all. Sometimes I think people know you're in a rush, and it drives them to walk even slower than they usually do, even slower then how people tend to walk around in shopping centres (which is a whole different story!)
At last I made it to Uni. But I know tomorrow morning is going to be exactly the same.

Oh starbucks
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17356957
"Just got your head around waiting in line and remembering whether you ordered a grande flavoured latte, a tall caramel macchiato or a venti mocha light frappuccino?
Scrap that. Starbucks wants to get back to basics.
"Have you noticed how everything seems a little impersonal nowadays?", its website asks wistfully. "We've all become user names, reference numbers and IP addresses.
"From now on, we won't refer to you as a 'latte' or a 'mocha', but instead as your folks intended: by your name," the coffee chain claims.
From now, as well as taking orders from customers, baristas will also ask what they are called so this can be scribbled on cups and called out when coffees are ready for collection.
All sounds very American? That is because it is."

Photography project
Now i'm no photographer, but I'd like to be one day! I have a project which includes finding a journalistic story/issue etc and portraying them using pictures.
Seeing as i'm aspiring to become a music journalist, I figured why not use this to my advantage!
So, calling all musical fans out there - I NEED YOUR HELP! :) Show me how music has inspired you, and how it's changed you as a person, tell me how music makes you feel and what sort of influences it's had over your personality/image :) Even if you don't want to be photographed/recorded, feel free to leave some answers in the little comment box below, everything is appreciated :)
Thank you world!
