Best make a coffee to prepare myself for a productive evening. Coffee buzz! Wait what? Big bang theory? Okay fine, one episode wont hurt. HAHAHA oh Sheldon's mum is such a racist... I bet he'd write this essay for me. Okay right, tidy room tidy mind! Or whatever that saying is.. i'll move all the clothes to the end of my bed, then i'll -OHMYGOD I missed eastenders, iplayer it is! So dramatic. Now I have no room to sit on my bed. Bugger. Okay i'll make space, eat this chocolate, then write out my essay title. 48 words for the essay title! Wheeey progress. Oh god didn't I put washing in ages ago? No Amy, it'll have to wait. Okay back onto my word document. FACEBOOK NOTIFICATION! Oh fuck off sims social I don't play you anymore. Okay right.... focus Amy... Focus... though I am a little hungry, and I have a bit of cathedral cheese in the fridge. Food break. Back and ready to work! So, an essay on youtube... i'll just type that into google.. Oh hello youtube! Haha Jenna marbles you so funny. Ahh. Okay i'll start with writing how many people visit youtube daily. WHY is this taking so long to find? Stupid youtube. I love youtube! No person on facebook I hardly know I will not be attending that event which is somewhere i've never heard of with people i'm pretty sure don't even exist. Back to google. Wikipedia? Would they notice? Hang on... what's my essay about again? I'm going for a shower.

I'm back!
So it's now 2012 and I havn't written in this for around a year, and up until about 25 minutes ago I had completely forgotten all about this! So what better way to refresh my bloggin' ideas then to give a quick recap up of my life and the wonderful wonders that it beholds.
And what better way to start a new blog then to have a little bitch?
Something that really seems to tick me off (keeping the language to PG for the moment!) is when people call/imply i'm stupid. Both are the same. Both annoy me. But what's WORSE is when someone implies you're stupid because of one little mistake and then tells you that you'll never achieve what you're aiming for. Did Blair Waldorf give up on Chuck even after all them many scandles and prostitutes in Bankok? Did Martin Luther King drink a copious amount of coffee after he had a dream? No sir, they did not! However, every annoyance in life comes with its own pretty little silver lining (See, keeping the mood positive ;D) And that is the sickening satisfaction of the pleasure you get when you prove someone wrong :)
So people, just remember to stay motivated, inspired and always prove someone wrong who doesn't believe in you ;]

Half time hell?
Reguardless of barely understanding the rules, the Super Bowl last night was fantastic.
However.... can the same be said about the half time acts?
The Black Eyed Peas, being quite possibly the biggest band in the world and having put so much dedication into their work, shocked me last night. Don't get me wrong, I like the BEP, their music is so up beat and exciting, and they make brilliant... recording artists.
To put it bluntly, their performance was almost tragic. The set was beautiful! However, not to sound rude here, I cant help but think the set was an attempted distraction. I would apsoloutly love to see them sing live, but live without any of the voice edits and sound effects. I think if we take away what makes them good recording artists we would be left with a muttering-and-out-of-tune-Will.I.Am-with-added-extra-shouting-Fergie. They were completely out of tune and out of time, infact it looked like they had stumbled out of bed onto the set and had Fergie shouting every other word to try wake them up.
I believe that the only honest act there (and not meaning to sound bias, due to my last blog) was Slash. Ecspecially after Usher came/flew onto the stage. Once again, I like Usher, though he didn't seem to really do much. He simply danced to his own song, maybe singing a word or two for an 'epic effect' Sorry usher, but I dont think people want to pay good money just to see you dancing, Fergie did enough of that.
All in all, im sure the performance will be rememberd for years to come, and hopefully Fergie, they'll fix your microphone.

My first blog
Seeing as I aspire to become a music Journalist, I have decided to dedicate this first blog to something musical related. So here goes...
The shinanigans going on with Guns n' Roses and their ex-guitarist Slash (Also famous for Velvet Revolver) is something which, lets face it, definitely won't be a win win situation. Slash is proposing that he'll rejoin Guns N' Roses under the condition that Axl Rose apolosinges to him.
In October 1996 Slash resigned from Guns N' Roses because he could no longer see eye to eye with leading vocalist Axl Rose, due to Axl making no progress in producing the new album and wanting to direct the band in a different direction.
Axl Rose has a reputation of being rude, incompitant and lets face it, unreliable to turn up to a gig on time, leaving the crowd dissapointed and angry. However, Slash rejoining would mean wonders for Guns N' Roses, having two members from the origional band.
Whether or not Axl will apologise to Slash is a different matter, seeing as the two have barely spoken a word to each other since Slash held up the white flag and walked away, we can only sit back and wait to see if an old friendship will come through, or if the only way to hear Axl and Slash perform together is on their album "Appetite for Distruction".....
